I Love Lariats

I love Lariats.. they are so versatile and unique.... these two are my favorites.. to date I think I've made about 5 lariats for myself... mum has maybe 3 or 4... I've made dozens to sell and I still wanna make more..... hmmmm... inspiration time!


Hawt Rawks! I used silver chain with these lovely nuggets... each a different Semi-precious stone... I've got Citrine, Carnelian, Jasper, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, Labradorite, Amazonite, Chalcedony, Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz. It's definately a conversation starter for me :)


For this lariat, I used a gold-filled chain and just Amazonite beads. I had leftover Amazonite teardrop shaped beads which made great dangly bits... This one I use for more evening affairs...

A friend of mine asked me to come up with something for her aunt... and I created 2 pieces.. one which she bought (I forgot the pic) and this is the other one she liked but felt it was too long for her.... So I named it after her... Angie....

I used nuggets of mixed agate that had beautiful colours. And I paired it with gold-filled chain.

Zebralicious

When I saw these Zebra Jasper round beads... I just couldn't resist.. .they are a beautiful mix of peach-pink and grey and when paired with the silver-grey Hematite beads, make for a very Zebralicious necklace. Approx. 20" in length.

Jungle Fever

Think Tarzan & Jane and you'll get Jungle Fever which is exactly what this piece is like... a combination of Green Turquoise barrel beads and teardrop shape beads. Makes you just want to do the Tarzan raw!

Pretty Rosy

I just couldn't resist combining all these beautiful rose-hued beads... In this 3-tier necklace.. I've got Rose Quartz, Cherry Quartz, and multi-colored coin-shaped Fresh Water Pearls. So sweet, so rosy, so loverly..... Think Pink! The necklace is 18" with the shortest (innermost) strand being 16".

Coral Adventure

I wanted to call this one Chilli Padi.. but I think I gave that name to another design... so Coral Adventure it is for this beautiful rich Red Coral chips and Green Aventurine barrels. Simple and straightforward.

I love this Jasper pendant, because of the different shades of brown in it. I paired it with Swarovski Crystals & Crystal Pearls as well as bronze Guttermann Glass beads. And it's a 2 strand necklace of approx. 18"

Jaded

I love this burnt-brown Burmese Jade pendant, because not only of it's unique design but it has flower carvings on it too. I paired it with lovely square shaped Mother of Pearl that gave off that beige-brown look. Elegant and Chinoise-chic!
